A three-part landscape painting series, with each video lasting about 30 minutes.
This painting began with a reference photograph taken while hiking on the Glacier Creek side of Rocky Mountain National Park. During the painting process, I departed from the photograph and used memory and imagination to redesign part of the foreground.
Follow along from start to finish as I develop the painting and demonstrate how a reference photograph can be a starting point rather than something we have to copy exactly.
